eBook to audiobook converter

Convert your eBook
into an audiobook

Upload an EPUB, DOCX or PDF and get a multi-voice, retail-ready audiobook - with an auto-published podcast and a YouTube video on top. One file in, a finished audiobook out, mastered for every store. You keep your rights.

Four steps

How to convert an ebook to an audiobook

No manual narration, no studio booking. The converter does the whole chain.

STEP 1

Upload your file

Drop your EPUB, DOCX or PDF. We clean the text, fix numbers and abbreviations, and detect chapters automatically.

STEP 2

Cast the voices

A narrator plus a distinct voice per character, detected straight from your prose - or keep a single warm narrator.

STEP 3

Generate audio

Studio-grade narration with prosody, pauses and emotion, mastered to retail spec, one track per chapter.

STEP 4

Publish where it fits

Audiobook, podcast feed and YouTube video, in one or many languages, on the stores that accept AI narration.

Why this converter

More than a text-to-speech toy

Any format

EPUB, DOCX, PDF

Headers, footers and notes stripped. Numbers, dates and abbreviations read the way a human would.

Automatic

Multi-voice casting

A real cast detected from your text - not one flat machine voice across the whole book.

Retail spec

Retail-ready output

Files mastered to retail spec, with a deposit guide for each store that accepts AI narration.

Anti-lock-in

You keep your rights

Apple takes the rights to its free AI audiobooks. We never do - you own the files and set your price.

1 to N

Every language

One ebook becomes audiobooks and podcasts in English, French, Spanish, German and more.

Directed

Acted, not flat

Scene-aware prosody, breaths and emotion - the difference between a robot and a narrator.

By format

EPUB, DOCX or scanned PDF - what changes

EPUB

Cleanest path in

Chapter markers are already part of the file, and text flows without page-break clutter. If your ebook exists as EPUB, start there. DRM-locked copies bought from a retailer's own store are the one thing that blocks upload outright - you need a file you actually own the rights to convert.

DOCX

Fine, with a check first

Manuscripts convert well once chapter headings are marked consistently. The failure mode we see most is leftover track-changes edits or reviewer comments in the file: left in, they get read aloud as if they were part of the story.

PDF

Depends which kind

A PDF exported from a word processor still has a text layer and converts, though multi-column layouts can break into a fragmented reading order. A scanned PDF - a photo of printed pages with no text layer - has nothing to read at all until it goes through OCR first, and OCR mistakes turn into audio mistakes.

What usually breaks a conversion, whatever the format: embedded images used as chapter titles (no text to read), tables and footnotes tangled into body text, and front matter that gets narrated as if it were chapter one. We strip and flag these before narration starts, not after.

Not sure which file to send? If you have an EPUB, send the EPUB - it needs the least cleanup of the three, and it is the one export most ebook and word-processing tools can produce in under a minute.

Converting your ebook

Upload your EPUB, DOCX or PDF. We clean the text, detect chapters, cast the voices and generate a mastered, retail-ready audiobook you can publish on every store - no studio, no manual narration.

EPUB, DOCX and PDF. We strip headers, footers and notes, and read numbers and abbreviations correctly so the narration sounds natural.

Always. You own the master files and set your own retail price - unlike Apple's free AI narration, which takes the rights and locks you to Apple Books.

From $129 per book for a Studio-voice audiobook, up to $499 for actor-grade Premium narration - far below the $500-3,000 a studio charges. Or subscribe from $29 per month. See the pricing page.
