Audiobook Production Services,
Done For You

A production service is more than a voice reading your text: casting, editorial prep, mastering, cover and listing, all delivered as one finished file. Audiobookery runs the whole chain and stops for your approval before the full book is recorded, so you are never surprised by the result.

What production means

Not a converted file - a produced one

Any app can read a PDF out loud. A production service tailors the result to your story: it detects chapters, rewrites numbers and abbreviations to be spoken, casts a voice you approve after hearing it on your own pages, scores mood music to the genre, masters every chapter to retail spec, and wraps the result in a cover, title and store listing built to be found. That is the difference between a file and a finished book. It is also the difference between a listener who finishes the book and one who stops after the first chapter because the narration sounds like a machine.

The full chain

Everything included in production

Your call

You pick the voice, then approve it

Choose a narrator, hear a sample recorded from your own pages, and give the go-ahead before we record the whole book.

Editorial prep

Text prepared for the ear

Chapters detected, front matter cleaned, numbers and abbreviations rewritten to be spoken naturally.

Fiction

A voice for each character

From the Creator plan, your narrator and characters keep a stable voice from the first chapter to the last.

Sound

Mood music and mastering

Music matched to your genre, levels mastered chapter by chapter to retail spec.

Presentation

Cover, title, listing - three options each

Three cover proposals, three title ideas, and a store description written to be found - you pick what fits.

Delivery

Chapter MP3s plus one M4B

Named chapters, your cover, and a store-ready package. A chapter that misses gets redone, not the whole book.

From $29 a month, or $129 a book

A subscription gives you 500 pages of finished audiobook every month, for as many books as you like, on a 12-month commitment with two months free when billed yearly. Publishing once? Pay $129 for a single audiobook, no commitment. A page is 275 words, and we count pages, never books, so a novella and a long novel both fit inside the same plan without extra fees.

Questions about the service

Voice casting with your approval, editorial prep of the text for the ear, narration, mood music, mastering to retail spec, a cover and store listing, and delivery as mastered chapter files (MP3) plus one M4B with named chapters.

No. A manuscript in EPUB, DOCX or PDF is enough. We clean the text, detect chapters, and prepare numbers and abbreviations to be read aloud.

Subscriptions start at $29 a month for 500 pages of finished audiobook. Paying per book starts at $129 for Standard, up to $499 for Premium narration.

A chapter that misses the mark gets redone on its own - you never have to pay again for the parts that already work.

Always. You own the master files, set your own retail price, and there is no exclusivity or revenue share.
